From many readings to one reliable event
When a pallet, container or another item passes through a portal, readers may capture data from several angles. Portals Server is activated either by an external signal or by the first reading. It then combines the readings and delivers one verified dataset. The receiving system gets a reliable basis for moving goods, updating status or starting the next activity.
A standalone link between equipment and systems
Portals Server runs locally on Windows or Linux and can connect RFID readers, barcode scanners and sensors to the systems your organisation already uses. Data can be delivered through interfaces including REST APIs, webhooks, OPC and Microsoft SQL Server. This lets you introduce the product without replacing your warehouse, production or business systems.
Powerful alongside Exact WMS®
With Exact WMS®, an approved portal event can become a controlled stock movement or a new warehouse task. The same event can trigger a label job in Label Print while Lights HMI shows the operator what is happening. The products are designed to work well together, while Portals Server remains equally capable of delivering data to other systems.
From one portal to an entire facility
Each portal can be monitored and controlled individually. You can begin with one control point and expand to more gates, zones or locations as requirements grow, while keeping the same principles for validating and sharing data.
Tailored to your solution
Portals Server is a standalone product, but it does not have to become an off-the-shelf delivery. Our designers and developers can combine it with Exact WMS®, existing systems, equipment and workflows to tailor a solution to your organisation’s needs.
